Julie Ball, Welfare Officer
- Durham City Gymnastics Club is a significant part of my life. My children have been a part of the club for a number of years and I am in awe of what the gymnasts can do and the coaches can support them to achieve. It is a pleasure to be an active part of the club.

Chloe Davies, Head of Recreational Gymnastics
When I was younger I loved to do gymnastics. There wasn’t a single day where I wasn’t doing handstands or cartwheels or even teaching my friends how to. The sport provided me with so much joy and I hope I can do the same for others. I am currently the lead of our general recreational classes where I get to help hundreds of children find the same love from the sport as I did.

Reception

Leanne Bowes, Head of Reception
Working for DCGC has been amazing, and I love greeting the children as they come in for their gymnastic classes. Prior to working here, I worked for Lloyds Bank for 10 years and then I went into the care sector, working in a care home. I joined DCGC as more suitable working hours for my family, and I have never looked back. All coaches are fantastic and the talent they all have and pass on to the children is amazing to see.
